How do I find the Windows 95 product key?

click start > run type regedit locate hkey_local_machine folder under my computer click + then click software>microsoft>windows atlast click current version it will show you product key there

You need to access the registry editor by clicking on Start>Run and type in "regedit". Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under My Computer and click on the plus(+) sign to expand the folder. Select Software>Microsoft>Windows>Current version> ProductID. The numbers and letters on this line represent the Windows 95 product key formatted like xxxxx-xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx.

It comes with the original installation CD and is printed on a sticker on the CD cover. If you got a preinstalled version the sticker might be on the PC.
