How do I connect a computer to a xbox?

You can connect your computer to your XBox via an ethernet cable. If you would like to access the hard drive, you would need to use a SATA connector after taking the hard drive out. There is no ot her way to access the hard drive except for this way.

If you are referring to being able to transfer files back and forth on an original Xbox, it must be either soft or hard modded and then you would use an FTP program (FlashFXP being popular). If you are referring to sharing or "Bridging" an internet connection, you would go through router settings, this would be used for Media Center.

I have Elgato eyeTV Hybrid for that purpose,and I am very satisfied with the results.You will need to buy additional AV cables too.
