The bird requires a roomy cage aqd should be fed with plenty of fruits and vegetables and fresh water. A nutritious diet ,along with seeds and nuts is also preferrable.

Because of their small size they can live in a small cage but will require some time outside. They need fresh water,organic pellets,fresh fruits and vegetables.
