Plant it up to neck in a warm place (68 - 70 deg F). Water and fertilize for 6 months. When the stem settles, cut the top of the bulb and cut the old flowers when flowering stops. Cut the yellow leaves up to 2 inches from the top of the bulb and then remove the bulb from the soil.
