Crown of thorns is a xerophytic Euphorbia. It needs sharp drainage, bright light, and reduced water in the winter. Avoid over watering and over feeding as this can lead to stem rot. Crown of thorns is susceptible to root mealy bug and spider mites. Look for webbing in leaf axils (mite) and watch for cottony mealy bug at soil level.

Don't. This plant arrangement is cruel looking and prickly. Should you however not mind bloody fingers continue in your search for thorn-care.
