You will need to take the person with you and all other owners to get the title changed. Both of you should take 2 forms of ID. You may want to call ahead to make sure you bring ID that they will accept. If you have a card or the title, take it with you to the county property office.

You can take the original title to the town office and assign another name to it with a witness and a seal. This is a very easy task to do.

You need to go to your district court office or your registry of deeds, the clerks there can easily guide you to fill out the necessary paperwork.

You can go to your city's title office and they can help you with this process. Check with a lawyer for the legal ramifications before doing this. It may be in your best interest to have the person also put on your mortgage as well as your property deed.
