Get a clarinet (in good repair), reeds, and a beginners music book. You can find all this at a music store. Follow the book instructions.

First you need to be a good breather. You will need to take some breathing lessons. Second, See if the clarinet is for you, sometime the mouth piece is not for you. Go to the library and get a music book that you can learn from.

It would be advisable to perhaps go to a local music store and peruse various books on the subject, as many specialized stores have instructional booklets. Another idea would be to search the internet for free videos of people playing or giving instruction, and playing close attention. Practice daily!
