The younger you start to play the trumpet, the easier it will be. The trumpet has a total of three keys. However, all of the notes you will have to play will depend on how good you can be with learning the lip movements. Learning to read music is difficult.

The hardest part of playing the trumpet is learning how to buzz (make the sound that makes the trumpet play). Get a fingering chart online and carry the mouthpiece around and practice your buzz.

Go to your local music store and ask around for adults giving lessons. Learn from a person you can respect and who'll respect you, and make an effort to practice!
