How difficult is it to change the axle shaft bearing?

If you have some skills in car repair it shouldn't be very hard but, because every car is a little different it does depend a little on what type of car you have. It would take four steps from supporting the car, taking it apart, removing the pinion mate, and then changing the shaft.

It's somewhat difficult but yes you can do it yourself. It's about a two hour job. As long as you have a floor jack.
