How did the American revolution influence the French?

Answer by  JayTee (48)

The American Revolution financially broke the French monarchy, which created one of the stresses that eventually led to the French bringing on their own revolution. It also dealt their bitter enemy, the English, a heavy loss, which allowed the French to narrow the gap in the race of global imperialism.
