The 1920s was big time for women's fashion-- hemlines went up, bras went on, and corsets went out the window. For the first time, Hollywood and the "looks" of "it" girls like Clara Bow influenced the way women wanted to look. Rouge, eyeliner and lipstick were suddenly acceptable.
