How common is it to get an infection from a nail salon?

It is very common if the salon is not up to par on their sanitary conditions. All equipment should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each client. Make sure they dispose of non reusable items and use clean tools on you. Any liquids used should be poured into separate container to be used solely for your session.

It's not all that common. People tend to get infections from nail salon's when the nail salon doesn't clean their tools well between visitors. If you have gotten an infection report it to the local BBB.

The nail infection is not a big thing. It can be cured. Because nails are made up of totaly calcium and I suppose if we wlilleat properly then no infection could harm us. Other wise the best thing is dont try any nail polish till the infection is over. Try to keep them clean as much as you can.
