Specially formulated Super Glue is actually used as a bandage, so allowing it to wear off is a possible choice providing that the glue isn't in your eyes or otherwise dangerous. Carefully using nail polish remover (acetone) is also a possibility as is ripping it off as a synthetic scab.

There are a few tried and true methods. You can use some type of oil, such as olive oil, or nail polish remover, or something such as goo-gone. All three have been tested and do the trick, whereas soap and water will not. Patience also helps!

You can try using acetone based nail polish remover. This often works for a thin spot or two. Rinse the area well when you are done and keep the polish remover away from your eyes.
