How can I troubleshoot fuel problems in a Suzuki Katana?

You can pretty much tell how the drive is to tell there is a fuel problem. When it skips that is a big problem with the fuel. Proper cleaning is needed.

This could be a number of different problems. First make sure that you are using high octane fuel (90 or better). Don't use ethanol blends. Next check to make sure that the fuel filter is in good working order, if not replace. Finally check and see if the fuel pump is working correctly.
