Farmer's Almanac is actually usually a good predictor of the future season, and in the past, winter is a season which they have been very accurate on. The weather network is also a source of information, which you can be fairly sure will be reliable when assessing the upcoming winter.

There really isn't a sure-fire way to know what winter will bring. Many people will read the Farmers Almanac as well as study weather patterns to attempt to predict what winter will bring for us this year.

We can very easy to tell there is a bad winter this year, Because the climatic changes happening previous years is leads to think so. The air pollution and emission of CO2 and other gasses to the Atmosphear is the reason.
