If the kitten is smaller than two pounds it is most likely under 8 weeks old. If it has lost its kitten teeth and has its adult teeth then it is over 4 months old.

The best way to tell the age od a stray kitten is to take him or her to the vet. If you can't afford compare size and height to some others.
