How can I stop Internet Explorer from launching automatically?

The windows loads some application while it starts there are called as Start Up application. To delete the internet explorer right click on the system tray and select Always Hide. the other solution is through a Tune Up Utilities and in that u can delete the start up applications.

If Internet Explorer is starting when you turn on your computer, than it will have to be removed from your start up options. This will depend on what operating sytems you are using. Click ALT_CTRL_DLT will get you to where you can edit this.

This should work for any windows platform. Click the start button in the lower left corner of the desktop. Click run and type msconfig in the box. Click the startup tab. You will see Internet Explorer with a check in front of it. Click to remove it. Restart your computer.

Your internet explorer is in your start up program when your computer comes on you should go into the computer start up and un-tick the box this will stop it
