How can I stop bug bites from itching?

Put a few drops of neat tea tree oil on a tissue then on to the bite this will stop the itching immediately.

Any brand of meat tenderizer works, somehow it breaks down the proteins in what's making you itch. An ice cube can help too.

The best way is to put some kind of calamime lotion on them. Put it on with a kleenex or cotton ball and do not put a bandage on top.

I have often used chapstick. I think that blocking the air from reaching the bite with something that is oil-based will stop the nerves from feeling the itch.

Put some toothpaste on the bite! It stops the itch fast!! Get some travel sized tubes and carry one with you!
