You can take some tylenol or ibprofin for the pain and the swelling. Maybe try a heating pad or some ice that will help with the pain. Call the doctor if the problem gets worse.

You can use Calamine lotion, which is also used for poison ivy, chicken pox, sunburn, and any type of rash.

You can purchase an anti itch lotion for your bug bites at the same place that you would buy bug sprays and lotions. When applied it will cause your bug bite to itch less. In the future try using some kind of bug spray or lotion.
