How do I reset the check engine light?

More than likely you still have a code stored. Take your car back to where the light was checked and have rechecked or just have old codes deleted.

Well if you have fixed the problem then you have two options. Either clear the codes with a code reader capable of doing that or disconnect the battery for a few seconds. However this may cause your stereo to reset as well as your other settings.
