You can easily repair a Lambra by taking the sensor from the car and replace the faculty sensor with a new sensor. To prevent this I would recommend using a higher quality gas as a Volvo runs on a higher grade gasoline. This easy fix can save you 1,000 of dollars in repairs.

A lit Lambda light means the car has registered and stored a diagnostic trouble code. The codes will need to be read by a diagnostic machine. Therefore, you'll need to take your vehicle to a mechanic for a diagnosis so you can then take the steps to repair the problem.

You should remove and replace the oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold. This is the main part of the Lambda system in Volvos.
