How can I make sure my family has a traditional Christmas?

You can put up a Christmas Tree with lots of lights and a star on it. Decorate the inside of your house with garland and mistletoe. Make a Christmas dinner (Ham, Mashed Potatoes, etc.) You can sing Christmas Carols and dont forget the presents under the tree for the children.

A traditional Christmas can be different things to different people. To me, it would be a Christmas tree, family, snow, and a nice dinner. Others would include going to church.

Start looking up different holiday traditions. You then can pick and choose which ones you want for your family. You can even invent your own traditions!

A traditional family Christmas consists of a Christmas tree & decorations,going to church, a family dinner and plenty of presents under the tree! If you do those, you've got it!

Read aloud the true story of Christmas. Make it a point to attend services. Decorate the tree and house. Watch really nice Christmas movies. Adopt a family. Start early buying gifts and clothing on sale. If you are unable to adopt a family, give gifts to the church or orphanages or service people. It's more fun to give than receive.
