How can I improve my grammar?

I don't want to take a class.

Often times, practice makes perfect. It is a cliche for a reason. The more you expose yourself to good grammar the better you will naturally become. Read novels that interest you, and are regularly found on a college english course reading list. This will help you without seeming like work.

I'd recommend reading the book "Eat Shoots and Leaves" by Lynne Truss. It's not only an interesting read, it explains many aspects of grammar.

There are a couple ways you can do this. One way would be to write a short essay about anything you want and then put it into microsoft word.
