You could use a third party remote control program such as Remote VNC or my preferred Ultra VNC that supports multiple OS's.

There shouldn't be any problems between Windows NT and Windows XP, just connect to it as if it were XP, and it should work.

The Question is not very clear! However, If your are talking about establishing a network of 2 computers from Windows XP to WinNT. You need to establish a network connection using "My Network Places", Click "set up a home or small office network" as follow the wizard prompts - with the same workgroup and computer name. Then click just finish.

Netmeeting is the software using which 2 machines of WinNT and XP can be connected. Because this software is available in both of the version. If it is not available it can be downloaded.

Well, you can use the remote access and remote assistance button to help you out. Sign on from one computer with NT and then ask or request remote assistance to another computer that has XP. This will allow you to gain access by connecting to the main frames of the computers.

Well, first of all you need a cross-over cable if you don't have a hub or router already. You can buy those at any radio shack or computer store.
