You can scrub/soak it with "Dawn PLUS OXI", "Ultra Dawn", "Dawn Power Dissolver", "Shout", "Goop", "dry cleaning fluid or with kerosene. Then scrub at them with a stiff toothbrush, However you will need to get a new washer before you rewash the clothing or more oil spots will appear on them.

I agree with the people who say Dawn dish soap. I work in a restaurant and I get a lot of cooking oil and grease on my uniforms. I pre-treat the area with Dawn and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes and soak that area with water. Then I throw it in the wash like normal.

Using a regular cycle, machine wash your clothes in warm water and add a drop of liquid dishwashing soap. Select a dish soap that removes grease, such as Dawn liquid soap. This method is successful for cutting through the tough to get out grease stains, and thus leaving your clothes good as new.

First, cover oil with cornstarch and leave for 30 minutes. Next, soak in hot water with dish soap. Then apply pre-treater and launder as usual.
