You need to wait at least two weeks since you last coloured your hair to fix what was done. If you don't you will fry your hair and it could fall out. Go to a professional and they will help you cover it up.

Go back to the hair dresser and get your hair recolored. They can also do reverse highlights to get a great result.

To get rid of your highlights, simply use a hair color close to the color you want and the highlights will blend in with the rest.

You should go to a salon and have it professionally done. If you dont pick right one and use ash colors it could make highlights appear green or grey. You can color over them with a darker hair color. There will still be different tones but the colors would be darker.

You can either wait until they grow out, which would take a very long time. Or, you can go to the salon and get lowlights, or just foils of your natural color over the highlights. You can also do a plain, all over color to cover up the highlights that you don't like anymore.

You can always buy a darker color and just cover them up. If that does not work, you may have to go to a salon.
