To kill the mold you would use bleach. But you can ruin the color. I would try a heavy duty cleaning solution and a good scrub brush and scrub away.

A product that I use quite a bit is an enzyme type cleaner. I first heard of the product on a home improvement show on the radio that I listen to regularly. You can find the product at killmoldnow. com but it has undergone a name change. Mix it with water and follow directions.

Use a solution of bleach and water and use a sponge to wash the canvas and the bleach will kill the mold
