Purchase a spray bottle attachment for your garden hose. Fill the bottle with liquid dish-washing soap, attach it to the hose, and spray your entire lawn. It is helpful to keep a spray bottle of the soap handy inside the hose to spray any insects that make it inside.

Those are a serious nuisance and they're obscene! I have found that using citronella candles and bug zappers helps discourage the little buggers. You can also use flying bug spray. Make sure it's safe for your pets.

Dawn or Joy (or any brand of detergent)when put in a hose applicator can kill love bugs in your yard. The soap coats the bugs and keeps them for respiring normally, so they die quite quickly. The soap is non-toxic and degrades quickly in the environment. Soap of course is also cheap, so it's your best bet.

Well one way to get rid of these bugs is to simply stomp on them. Another is to go to www. lovebugcleaner. com.

Love bugs are seasonal, they will disappear after a brief interval. They are not attracted to bug lights; insecticides will work, but you'll be spraying everywhere.
