A long bath in the finest of tubs, followed by the rubbing of scented oils on one's body while dancing around a fire can cure most things.

Try using some dish soap or detergent and make a very soapy sudsy solution and place it where ever you have love bug problems. They will get stuck in the solution and its an easy way to rid your self of some of the swarm of love bugs that bother you.

To get rid of love bugs you can try pouring buckets of water with soap where they swarm. You can also light mosquito candles or tiki torches.

Purchase an inexpensive spray bottle attachment for your hose ($4 Wal-Mart). Fill it with Joy detergent (or your favorite kind) and spray down all the areas you see the love bugs. The soap suds create a balloon effect around the love bug and suffocate them. After the soapy attack spray again with just water to remove the dish detergent.

one of the easiest/ cheapest ways is to spray them with a mixture of water and dishwashing detergent, it should kill them on contact.

Well you can get rid of love bugs by using raid. Raid is very effective in killing these type of bugs.
