There are a variety of things that can be done to improve range of motion. Stretching using many different movements such as pike sit, bar stretches, and partner stretches will improve an individual's flexibility. Participating in a yogo class might also help a person become less stiff. Cardio exercise and stretching after will also increase one's overall movement.

Stretch! Stretch before and after workouts. Stretch especially when your muscles are warm (after a workout) and repeat the same stretches in a sequence. Doing the same stretches will help you to get a deeper stretch and become more limber over time. Breathe as you stretch, but be sure not to hurt yourself.

You need to start doing stretches daily. You should try and hold each stretch for at least one minute. It is ok to start small but you should advance a little bit more everyday. Eventually you will be able to strecth much further than you were able to originally. Exercises like jogging also stretch the muscles

Make sure you stretch every day because that improves your flexibility the most. Try to stretch more every day. You might also want to try yoga or some other relaxation methods that include stretching and balancing. Lastly, a good amount of exercise will also improve your flexibility as well as your strength, but if flexibility is preferred, don't over-exercise.

Dancers are flexible because they train themselves by stretching. Some examples for good stretching are techniques from jogging and yoga.

Stretching is an important key to flexibility. Muscles that are too tight inhibit flexibility. Yoga is a good form of exercise if you want to be more flexible. So is Pilates.
