The best way to get a crackled cabinet finish would be to first paint the base color, and then dip a sponge in white paint and lightly press it on the surface.

1) Remove any dirt/stains from the cabinet; 2) Remove any shiny finish on the cabinet by using liquid sand; 3) prime the cabinet; 4) paint the under color (the color you want to show through the crackle); 5) paint the cabinet with crackle glaze; 6) paint the final coat.

It is actually very difficult to achieve. But you can try using the glazing and white paint. You may also require the use of stencils to achieve the crackle. You can pick up these items at Home Depot. Using the stencil, lightly glaze around the area. Then go over with a heavy coat to achieve the look.

First you will need to sand your cabinets.Then put a primeer on the cabinets. Next step is to paint you cabinets white. Allow this paint to dry and then put on your crackle paint. Only go over an area one time with the crackle paint. After that is dry apply the final glaze coat.

Home Supply stores offer an antiquing finish coat that you can apply over paint... it sort of weathers the paint below it and gives a very interesting cracking appearance.

The best thing to do is to go online and check out home depot. They will show you all the finishes you can use on your cabinets. It will also tell you how much it is and roughly how much you should purchase. You can even get a stick on and just place it right on the old cabinets.

I think you should contact certain company specializing on home decor stuff. You can try doing that on your own, but that might be hard.
