If the ceiling fan is wobbly it is because it is out of balance. You can tape coins on the paddles to make the weight even. A quarter on one paddle and maybe a dime on another. It takes a little while to get the weight distributed evenly. You can also just make sure all the screws are tight.

Depending on when the original was installed,80's during that time they were made to wobble slightly. The newer fans have greater features like pulling air up or pushing air down and are more stationary and required the utility box to be braced to the joist. This can be accomplished by an certified electrician

Take off all the blades. Run the fan without them. Stack each of the blades on top of each other to see that their shapes match. Rotate by hand with the power off at eye level to check. Clip a spring loaded clothes pin on one of the blades and see if it stops the shake.

The blades are unbalanced due to a weight problem. First make sure the mounting screws are secure and tight. Next tape a penny to the top center of one blade, move to each blade until it wobbles the lest. Adjust in or out until the wobble disappears. Increase or reduce the weight if needed.

There is probably a loose screw somewhere in the fan. When the fan is off, look at each one of the blades. Tighten all the screws for each one. Also look at the pieces connecting the blades to the base. Tighten all screws between these parts as well. Your fan should wobble no more!
