How can I find the scanner codes to a Sl2?

Use the internet. Sadly scanner codes are not included in most automobile booklets or if they are what they mean is not defined in great detail. Message boards and websites exist that are geared to help people in this predicament.

The scanner codes to an S12 are not generally available to the public. I remember a trade magazine called "Scanning World" that used to publish codes, or a scanner forum where members discussed hard to find codes. You're basically going to have to go through lots of trial and error unless somebody gives you the code.

The best thing you can do is get an on board diagnostice scanner and it will tell you what is wrong with the car and what code came up.
