How can I find out if old movie soundtracks are available?

They should have it. Especially itunes. Look under classic movie soundtracks, and it should be there. If not, you can always head to Best Buy, or Barnes and Noble or Borders where they sell all kinds of movie soundtracks. will also have old movie soundtack collections.

Your best bet is to try and search google or yahoo for a random site that might have what your looking for. Or you might aslo want to try amazon(dot)com.
