How can I come out as a lesbian to coworkers?

I feel like the longer I wait the harder it will be.

First off, it is a good idea to get to know them, preferably as friends, before you tell them. This way you won't be judged based on first impressions or stereotypes. Also, if your co-workers are very religious and against homosexuality, it is probably better if you don't tell.

if you are sure that it is the right thing to do, maybe tell someone you are close with in the work environment first to relieve some of the pressure, does everyone really need to know? im sure once you have told the people that matter you will feel a lot easier, maybe bring it up on a lunch brake.

Your question isn't easy. Coming out to your coworkers must be done when YOU are ready to do so. If you feel the time is right, then go for it.

The very first thing is that I must accept myself as I am. Each and every person is unique and has her own priorities and ways to lead her life. Once I accept my uniqueness and feel normal about myself it becomes easier for me to let other people know about myself.
