Use a damp cloth with either water or rubbing alcohol and clean as you normally would. Don't apply pressure on the cleaning areas as you are dealing with electronics. You want to be as gentle as possible and clean all of the major areas. Make sure no liquid gets into the PS2 system.

A regular home vacuum can be used to clean up access dust. Use the smaller vacuum attachments that have the brushes to clean out the dirt.
