How can I choose a good gift for my dad?

I always think about the person's interests when I'm thinking of what gift to buy. Does he like to golf? Does he like a specific tv show? How about a certain sport? Tickets or accessories are always a good idea.

The best gift for the dad would be to give books so that he could feel himself in the company of his best friends. But the care one should take is that the contents of the books should be of father's interest and never and never OBSCENE.
