For an adult, I would nicely frame Luther's hymn, "A Mighty Fortress. " For a child, I would go with a good children's Bible. If you look for a Lutheran bookstore website, you can find othergifts with quotes, etc. from Luther himself. I would avoid rosaries, crucifixes, and icons as well as "fundamentalist" gifts.

The kind of gift you want to buy depends on the age of the person. For kids a children's religious book is good. Bibles are good for teens and adults.
