How can I check my Chrysler Sebring's fuel pressure?

If there is a schrader valve on your fuel rail, simply hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the valve. If not, disconnect the fuel line and crank the engine.

Only way is to connect a pressure gauge somewhere in the fuel line. You do not need to start the car. Just turn the key on and the gauge will show where the pressure is at even after you turn off the key. The lines will remain pressurized for you.

This requires a special tool that will be introduced into the fuel line in front of the fuel filter. You will need a special tool to remove the fuel line from the fuel filter then put the special gauge in line. Start vehicle and first check for any leakage around tester or fuel line then read gauge.

Typically fuel rails will have a pressure release vale on the end that you can attach a fuel gauge to. Some car you may need to splice a gauge inline.
