How big is a baby hamster?

When i was a kid i bought a hamster from the nearby market, it was a baby hamster. I guess it's less than 3 inches in length including the tail.I dont know the exact weigh,but i guess it is 2 to 4 ounce.

It depends on the breed of the hamster. I have two Angora Hamsters and they are HUGE and I love them. They look like little teddy bears. In any case it really depends on the bredd of hamster you purchase because that will determine what size they will eventually be. Most hamsters are the same size at birth, don;t worry.
