Pit bulls generally will get as big as the genes programmed in them will let them, on the average, 30-45 pounds and 18-20 inches long. It also depends on whether it is male or female. Males in most breeds tend to be larger. Of course, overfeeding your pit bull can make it even bigger, but that is not recommended.

The American Pitbull can weigh anywhere from twenty pounds up to one hundred and ten pounds. It obviously depends on the build and activites of the dog.
