How big are king-sized quilt patterns?

Do you make the squares bigger?

A king sized quilt coverlets measure approximately 97"x97" and a king sized bedspread measures about 111"x111". Usually you would just add more quilt squares to make a king size quilt. You can also add a border or two to make it larger.
