Impulsivity, as defined by impulsive aggressive behaviors has been correlated to lower levels in serum cholesterol. The studies are not considered definitive, and the number of studies makes them not conclusive, but suggests a relation between borderline personality disorder and serum cholesterol levels in a study environment.

If you're impulsive about what you eat, you're not paying attention to what you put in your mouth hence you overlook the cholesterol or other nutritional factors.
