I have used a Smith Victor ligth kit. It is an excellent and inexpensive way to start your indoor studio photography. The kit comes with everything you need including stands, reflectors, umbrella mounts, umbrellas, and flood lamps. The entire kit is also lightweight.

Whereas Smith Victors are good quality and great lighting from a name that has been around forever they break entirely too easily. I have replaced almost 5 in a few months. They over heat and they blow their bulbs quite frequently. Personally I'm not too happy with them and expected more.

They make a great lighting kit for beginner to advanced photographers. Smith Victors are cost effective and good quality lighting system.

You really should. It is very good. I've been using one for quite some time and the lighting is extraordinary!
