These green little gems are versatile and can be used in many dishes. Apple pie is most tasty with granny smith apples. Try slicing into a salad the sharp, crisp taste of the apple makes a nice contract to other ingredients. Serve with crackers and cheese. You can also make a chutney and apple butter with them.

A tart is a great way to use Granny Smith apples because of their crisp flavor. You can also make applesauce.

Granny Smith apples are tart and tangy. You can cook them with potatoes and chopped cilantro, with roast pork or pork tenderloin. Another good alternative would be to cook them with chick peas and curry with Moroccan-style lamb or chicken tagine, or you can cook it all in some broth.

There are many options available. Some can be cut into pieces to make apple salad and you can invite your friends to home. Some can be made fresh juice and then be stored in the refridge. Some can also be put outside in the sun to make dried apples, and you can sell them on the internet.
