Does the Catholic Church block you from going to churches of other denominations?

Yes,, but it is not that they are afraid of people liking other churches but their fear is the teachings that they will get outside there which are contrary.

I highly doubt most Catholic churches would block you from doing that. If you have to attend a funeral or a wedding of someone who isn't Catholic, you can't exactly say "sorry, not coming." My Catholic grandmother has visited non-Catholic churches while on vacation because a Catholic one wasn't available. It's the same God either way.
