The character of "Spider-Girl" has appeared in many titles from Marvel Comics. She was originally a one-shot character but became so popular that she still appears in comics.

Spider Girl is the original Spiderman's daughter. She first appeared in volume two of Spiderman and soon after obtained her own comic book; aptly named Spider Girl. It ran the longest of all female, hero comic books, and later the name was changed to "The Amazing Spider Girl".
