Yes. Spam has high fat and sodium content and low vitamin content, the average 2oz serving of this "spiced ham" product contains 7 grams of protein.

Sure it does. It was originally intended as canned meat (of the pork variety). So even with the addition of some fat and seasonings it's still got the basics.

A 2-ounce serving of Spam contains 174 calories, 15 grams of fat, 39 mg of cholesterol, 767 mg of sodium, 7 g of protein. It's comprised of pork with ham and has high sodium content. It isn't a great bet in a nutritional sense but a moderate amount occasionally is okay as long as it isn't fried in grease.

Yes, it does. It provides 3 percent of the daily value recommended of iron, and one percent of calcium. Unfortunately, these benefits are minimal and it is also very high in fat, sodium, and preservatives. Because of these factors, it should only be eaten in moderation, or not at all.

Spam is a ham luncheon meat that basically has very little nutritional value. It does contain a very small amount of protein but this is counteracted by the high amount of fat and sodium. There is a large amount of saturated fat and the sodium in a serving of spam is equivalent to 2 grams of salt.

Spam is processed meat. It contains other ingredients aside from pork or beef. Spam may contain very little nutritional value

Low in vitamins and high in salt, Spam isn't health food, but it IS food. Its name is derived from a contraction of "spiced" and "ham," and it does in fact contain some pork shoulder and even a little ham. 29.7 of the 174 calories in a two ounce serving are from protein.

Yes believe it or not SPAM does have nutritional value. It is a pork product and therefore has the same nutrients found in many other pork foods. It is high in protein. There's also more than a little bit of salt in there and salt is necessary for us to function.

Spam has one percent of your daily Vitamin C, three percent of your iron, 7 grams of protein, but it also has a lot of sodium.

Sorry to tell you but no, spam is actually very unhealthy for you, it is primarily fat and salts. The only thing it's good for is carbs.
