Does Roll Out Grass really work?

It definetley does work however I prefer real grass seed which I just cover with hay to keep the birds out. Grass seed works better I believe but get the good kind.

Yes, it's called sod. You will need to take out the dead area grass and all. Level the area and add a little dirt if needed so when you lay down the sod it lays equal height to the old grass. It will eventually grow together. Water and make sure it doesn't dry out and die with the summer heat.

There have been quite a lot of bad reviews on it. You'd be better off taking a sample of your existing grass to your local nursery and getting seed/sod that is the same thing to repair your patches.
