It worked for me in small areas, but the best bet is to clean like crazy. Next bug bomb the house. Make sure to treat the yard and the walls of your house with something like raid. You will need to keep the house clean and bomb again.

Reviews wildly differ on the effectiveness of Riddex, however internet reviews generally agree that while Riddex does work on ants for the first few uses, it's effects are brief and unimpresive. Based on this information, alternate methods are recommended.

Riddex is effective in controlling almost all species of ants, however it must be used consistently. On top of that, you'll want to be sure countertops are dry so they can't get water, and any food items are cleaned up right away to prevent reinfestation.

I doubt it works on anything but your electric bill. They're not even allowed to claim the product repels pests anymore, because they made up some fairly ridiculous pseudo-science to pretend to explain how it works. Call an exterminator instead -- more expensive but more likely to work.

After researching info about the product I have concluded it does not work. Natural ways to control ants include sprinkling black pepper where needed. White vinegar/water sprayed on areas works.

Riddex, while effective on rodents and bats, has not been found to have any effect on ants or roaches, for that matter. A better solution would to try commercially available ant baits (following label instructions) or hire a Pest Control professional.

I've had no luck using Riddex to control ants. I've read several online reviews of the product - I don't think it works. Every spring my house is invaded by ants. I've found that the easiest solution is put down some non-toxic ant powder around the areas you see them.

When the Riddex product is use correctly and as instructed by the directions on the box the product will be effective for killing your ants. You must follow the directions on the box and use as often as needed until all of the ants are gone.

yes the riddex works on ants.i just applied on the base of the ants emerging area it proved to be helpful
